About Us
TCE Missions, started in 2014 when our family, Those Crazy Etheredges, left our home in small town Texas to follow God's calling to serve Him in South Africa. At that time God called our family to train and disciple local people to go out and be fruitful in His Kingdom, either in their home, workplace, community, or church. This is still our focus and the emphasis of all we do. Our family ministry began in the city of Johannesburg for 8 years before God called us once again to step further outside of our comfort zone and build a rural training center among the the Pedi people in the Sekhukhune valley of Limpopo. Though Limpopo is our families primary focus, God has blessed us to be able to train leaders in Gospel ministry and agriculture in 8 countries and on 4 continents. Through this travel, God opened the door for us to also partner with a dear brother at Immanuel Worship Center in Andrah Pradesh India to further the vision of seeing regular people equipped to do incredible things by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Mission
The Mission of TCE Missions is to train Christ affirming believers to carry out God’s commission and calling on their lives firstly in their homes and then to their churches, communities, and to the ends of the earth. We seek to see the body of Christ well trained through discipleship, well equipped with the knowledge of the Gospel, and sent out for Kingdom work by the empowering of the Holy Spirit. We focus on three key areas:
Practical Evangelism
When we observe the way Jesus taught we see He used many parables. Parables were practical ways to use normal and well understood activities to teach deeper spiritual truths. We believe evangelism should be the same. We use brick making, animal husbandry, agriculture, and others to provide the hearer with a way to see God's Word come alive, not in theory, but in a visible and tangible way. Through this weteach basic principles of: Salvation, Bible Study, Tithing, Self Examination, Stewardship, and more.
Discipleship
Our desire is not to see people evangelized and then left behind. Our goal is to see people well equipped and ready to serve the Lord God in whatever capacity He has gifted and called them to. Through various levels of relational discipleship and implementing Bible based discipleship courses we strive to see many missionaries sent out into the field to bring in a harvest for our Lord. Our prayer is that these believers become the leaders God uses to ignite flames of revival wherever He sends them.
Mentorship
Mentorship is a key concept in God's design in equipping the leaders of the next generation. By humbly investing in others we are able to see God transform and guide people into the plan He has for their future. We believe we are not meant to build an empire for ourselves but a Kingdom for Him. By investing in mentorship we get to be a stone on the path that God is leading His next great leaders down.
